Description:   Opened: 2012-01-25 17:15
Hello:

Bugzilla requires that I select a component and it is possible that I have
selected incorrectly. If this bug reaches you and this is not the bug for you
please accept my apology.

I have Abiword 2.8.6-0.3ubuntu2 installed on Ubuntu 11.10 via Synaptic on a
Gateway laptop.

While using Unity Desktop:
I open Format > Create and Modify Styles... > New which gives me the document
window plus a New dialog box and a New Style dialog box. I want to edit the
text-align property for which I need to select 'paragraph' from the Format
drop-down list in the lower right corner of the New Style dialog box. As soon
as I open the 3rd dialog box, all three open dialog boxes freeze. If I only
open 2 dialog boxes, New and New Style, I can edit settings, close the dialog
boxes and continue to use Abiword.

I installed Gnome Desktop and experienced the same result.

If I could edit the text-align property without having to open the 3rd dialog
box I could accept this solution as a work around.

can't reproduce on Fedora. But Ubuntu is a different story. If somebody can
debug that...
