Description:   Opened: 2000-05-02 16:52 
At less than 900 pixels wide, using gtk.so.1.0.6, most of the text is occluded
by a grey box the same 60% grey color as the background of the document space.

I have seen this bug before.  A friend of mine has to maximize abiword (he has
a
1024x768 display) to get this problem to go away.  However, I have never seen
this on my machine, regardless of width or resolution.

I can't reproduce this bug (gtk+ 1.2.9-2 under Debian).  Does it still occur?
