Description:   Opened: 1999-12-11 22:24
Write one very long (48 characters) nonsense word, and right click on it (to
look up the alternatives). It takes about two seconds to do so on a 333 MHz
Pentium II, all the while locking the program's interface event loop.
Subsequent lookups of the same word are no better. It looks like ispell does
some pretty wild things to come up with suggestions -- among them, suggesting
concatenations of other words to help fetect missing spaces. (At least I think
I've seen suggestions like that.)

Ispell sucks. Is there really anything we can do about this?

Not a problem for pspell builds

------- Comment #3 From Tim 2001-07-23 21:34:29 -------
Problem has gone away.
