Attempting to print (or print to file) under PowerPC Linux causes a core dump. No difference between MkLinux (Generic 7) and LinuxPPC (2.2.1) kernels. This happens on two PPC systems tested, so I think we can eliminate system-specific problems. Will attempt later to recompile with debug on and send the output.
From: Jerry LeVan <levan@eagle.eku.edu> I built 0.7.4 this afternoon. I found that I had to add PPC_ARCH_FLAGS = -fsigned-char to linux.mk in order to get printing to work on my LinuxPPC 99 release for the Macintosh.
This does not happen on my system. I dont have a printer so I can only test print to file. My system: Apple PowerMac G3 333 biege tower LinuxPPC R5. AbiWord: Latest CVS build as of 10/18/99
changed platform to Macintosh
Can't reproduce. Looks like it has been fixed.
