Load up a document, and open a new window so that you have two windows viewing the same, unmodified document. Make some undoable modification in one window. The 'Undo' icon won't become active in the other window. It will stay grayed out. You can, however, use the Edit menu or Ctrl-Z to undo the changes, even though the undo button is still grayed out.
Is this really only an X Window interface problem? Does the disable/enable wackiness happen on BeOS or Windows also? If so, this is probably a layout problem.
Nope. It's XP. The current scheme only notifies the current frame to update its toolbar state. If it's a "clone", we need to broadcast certain events more widely.
I can't verify this so I'm closing the bug
This happens on CVS build from today. Reopening
This no longer happens on windows.
...or linux. Closing.
I can't see it either. Closing.
