I created a 3 line file, saved it as "XHTML" with .htm extendion. IE will open it and display as an .HTM document. AbiWord will not open this or any other .htm or .html document I have. Error returned is: "AbiWord cannot open C:\My Documents\hello.htm. It appears to be a bogus or invalid document."
Created an attachment (id=197) [edit] AbiWord created file that it will not open.
I get that error: DEBUG: startElement: html, parseState: 0, listType: 0 DEBUG: startElement: head, parseState: 1, listType: 0 DEBUG: startElement: meta, parseState: 1, listType: 0 DEBUG: startElement: title, parseState: 1, listType: 0 DEBUG: endElement: title, parseState: 1, listType: 0 DEBUG: startElement: style, parseState: 1, listType: 0 DEBUG: endElement: style, parseState: 1, listType: 0 DEBUG: mismatched tag at line 31 DEBUG: Problem reading document
that document is not XHTML but HTML. AbiWord currently does not open HTML files. Closing.
Closing instead see: http://bugzilla.abisource.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1762
Changing version from 0.9.0..0.99.5 to pre-1.0 to reduce version cluttering. All of these versions are considered obsolete too.
