Description:   Opened: 2001-09-05 16:30
Unable to open HTML files on both Linux and Windoze versions.
Message: "File *.html is not a valid file format"

Abiword version 0.9.0 and 0.9.2

------- Comment #1 From Hubert Figuiere 2001-09-06 02:36:47 -------
If it is HTML then XHTML import can not handle it. XHTML import expect a valid
XML file using the XHTML DTD.
If it is a valid XHTML file, then provide the sample. Thanks.

------- Comment #2 From David Chart 2001-11-03 06:26:47 -------
AbiWord doesn't import HTML. Use HTMLTidy to turn it into XHTML... Closing.
