Description:   Opened: 2001-08-17 04:34 
we should have a file that store the encoding of ispell hashes instead of using
the hack described in bug 1408.
I suspect that we could retrieve this information from locales.

I think user must put only *.hash file in /dictionary forder.
Creating *.hash-encoding file is too compex for most users.

The hash-encoding files are shipped with the abispell package. The user needs
to
cp them to the abisuite dictionary directory, but then again, the user needed
to
download and install the hash file from the abispell package already
