Click on the text to which to apply "Spellcheck"
Click on Tools in Menu
Click on “Spelling”
Click on "Auto Spellcheck"
Expected result : Applied Auto Spellcheck function to the text
Actual result : Omit to recognize obvious non existing words.

This is a mis-communication which should be documented - Auto-Spellcheck
enables/disables spell checking for the entire document, not just a selected
region. What you probably want to do is right-click on a word and select
"Ignore" or "Ignore All". Closing.
