Using Win98/0.7.14...

When opening a .txt file, would it be possible for AbiWord to display this in a
monospaced font? Also, why am I able to open a .txt file and select a word, and
then be able to change the font? I didn't think that .txt allows you to specify
what font(s) you want to use in your document (saving this file and reopening
it doesn't remember the changed font information anyway).

------- Comment #1 From Hubert Figuiere 2001-06-12 08:01:57 -------
Times is the default font so the behaviour is normal. Any other WP does that.

Save by default will re-save to .txt so without style. Whether this is the best
user interface is another matter.

WONTFIX

I tend to agree. This is standard behavior. It allows the user to change the
formatting, and then save as AbiWord. Closing.
